Connect custom-domain email with IMAP and SMTP

Ask your host or administrator for

• Your full mailbox address and login if different.
• The IMAP hostname, port and encryption mode.
• The SMTP hostname, port, encryption and authentication requirements.
• A permitted sign-in method, such as an app password.

Enter the hosting details

Choose manual account setup. The mail server hostname is not necessarily your website address or email domain. Test receiving, sending to yourself and replying from a different mailbox.

Check organisational restrictions

An organisation may block IMAP/SMTP or restrict sign-in methods. Email access does not include shared calendars, directory services or other Exchange tools. Check these requirements with your administrator before connecting.
