Sort incoming messages

  1. Create a folder for a project or invoices.
  2. Set a rule using the sender, domain or subject.
  3. Check the next incoming message. Postosha can also suggest a rule after a manual move; saving it requires confirmation.

Start with spam labels

By default, the local filter marks suspicious messages. Automatic moves to spam are enabled separately per account. Spam and Not spam train the filter; Not spam returns a message to the inbox. Training data stays on your computer.

Local processing has limits

Rules and filtering run while Postosha is open and do not create webmail rules. Turning on a rule does not sort the entire old archive; explicit application processes loaded inbox messages in the selected account. Rules do not automatically forward or delete messages. The spam filter can be wrong and does not scan attachments for malware.
